No. Alabama exempts rental customers from the boater safety certification requirement—our staff provides a full safety briefing and operating instructions before you leave the dock, and we'll help you get a temporary boating certificate if needed.
Renters 16 and older with a valid driver's license can operate, as long as an adult 21 or older is aboard. Renters 21 and older can operate solo.

It depends on the boat—our fleet ranges from 4-person boats up to 12-person pontoons, so we can match you with the right size for your group.
We're happy to work with you on rescheduling if weather affects your trip. We also offer an optional cancellation add-on for $35, which lets you cancel for any reason up to 1 hour before your scheduled time.
No—pontoon rentals are restricted to inshore waters. You won't be able to run through Perdido Pass or any other pass into the Gulf, but you'll have plenty to explore staying inshore, including Robinson Island, Bird Island, and Ono Island.
